As the Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee end-to-end accounting functions, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards, including DCAA and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making.

• Monitor and forecast project costs, budgets, and revenue recognition.

• Lead audits, including DCAA audits, and coordinate with external auditors.

• Support contract negotiations and review financial aspects of contracts.

• Mentor and guide accounting staff to enhance team performance.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a defense industry environment.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FAR/DCAA compliance.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
