Accounts Payable Clerk in Holbrook, New York

Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role is based near Bohemia NY. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing AP invoicing, coding accounts and job codes, reconciling vendor statements, and processing invoices. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) invoices.

• Perform account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.

• Code invoices to appropriate accounts and job codes.

• Conduct regular reviews of billing documents and statements.

• Execute credit card reconciliations promptly and accurately.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Sage 100 software for data entry and other tasks.

• Ensure accurate and efficient invoice processing.

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking necessary action when required.

• Respond and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Run check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in performing Check Runs

• Ability to efficiently handle Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experienced in Invoice Processing

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Sage 100 software

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
