INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for a Legal Intern to join VF EMEA Internship Program.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

  • Legal Research: Delve into specific legal issues relevant to the retail industry in the EMEA region, and interpret laws, regulations, and cases.

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, ensuring they align with VF Corporation’s interests and legal standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance Checks: Monitor and evaluate business operations and practices to ensure alignment with local and international laws and standards.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, or briefings to convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.

  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Engage in meetings and joint projects with other business functions to understand and address legal considerations pertinent to them.

  • Legal Workshops and Training: Attend and participate in legal seminars, workshops, and trainings sponsored by VF Corporation or relevant industry entities to deepen understanding and skills.

  • Risk Analysis: Collaboratively review business strategies and initiatives, identifying potential legal risks and suggesting mitigation measures.

  • Case Management: Assist senior legal professionals in handling actual cases, observing and contributing to the resolution process.

  • Feedback and Review Sessions: Engage in regular feedback sessions with mentors and senior team members to refine skills, understand areas of improvement, and chart growth.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

  • You must have student status when beginning the internship or be graduating from May 2025 onwards – it’s a must.

  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You are passionate about leveraging tech solutions for business advancement.

  • You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.

  • You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.

  • First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
