The basics of this position:

The Science Department at St. Louis Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach on-campus, in-person Biology courses for the 2025-2026 academic year. Courses may include Anatomy and Physiology, Introductory Biology, Microbiology, Nutrition or Botany. Interested applicants should specify a campus if they have a preference and their subject area interest.

What you’ll do:

  • This position is for on-campus, in-person instruction.
    Instructors are responsible for instruction, grading, record-keeping, and compliance with legal and institutional obligations. Instructors should expect to meet all deadlines and to regularly use standard software, including the Microsoft Office suite, as appropriate. Instructors must conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people, styles, and views.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

Master’s degree in discipline or a master’s degree with at least eighteen (18) approved graduate semester hours in the subject field or related fields.
