Adjunct Instructor – Photography

We are accepting applications for individuals who meet our minimum qualifications and who can provide instruction through online or traditional (on-campus) delivery instruction on the Pewaukee Campus. Courses offered in the discipline include: Introduction to Photography, Light Techniques, and Studio Photography. The preferred will candidate will also have knowledge in Color theory, Photoshop and Digital Photography. Video experience would be a plus.

Pay will vary by course being taught.

Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean/Instructional Manager, the instructor is responsible for providing instruction to students within the assigned and approved instructional delivery system and in accordance with the mission, goals, policies and procedures of the District. The instructor is responsible for providing an active learning environment to enable students to demonstrate course competencies, and creating a student learning centered environment that places learning at the center of educational experiences.

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Teach courses in accordance with college and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Basic Course
• Information sheets.
• Prepare and submit timely grade reports and other reports on student performance as may be scheduled or required.
• Organize class activities and assignments, relating them to the overall student learning outcomes of the course.
• Provide input and work with other faculty and staff to review, produce and/ or select course-related materials.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Photography or 14,000 hours of photography experience in a Commercial setting.
2. Twenty-four months of directly-related occupational experience
3. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
