Adjunct professors work for a specified period of time at the university, teaching students, caring for patients, and advancing research goals.
ADJUNCT FACULTY UNION INFORMATION
On May 2, 2017, adjunct faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences and School of education represented by the Service Employees International Union Local 1 (SEIU) voted to ratify a five-year collective bargaining agreement with Saint Louis University.
The contract reflects Saint Louis University’s ongoing commitment to its faculty, staff, and students. It builds upon the strong foundation established by Saint Louis University while providing the flexibility needed to address organizational and programmatic changes as part of the ongoing operational excellence program.
