The Department of Computer Science in
the School of Engineering at The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly
motivated, reliable, dependable, and personable individual with excellent
customer service skills to join our dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant
2.
Computer Science is a highly
research-active academic department, and we are looking for someone who thrives
in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys
assisting others. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and
resourceful, with a commitment to supporting faculty, staff, students, and
visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
This position requires exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of organization, and the
ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and
professionalism. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth
day-to-day operations of the department by providing administrative support,
coordinating office activities, assisting with events, and serving as a primary
point of contact for visitors and inquiries.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
