Administrative Assistant – North Campus
FUNCTION: The function of the Administrative Assistant is to serve as the primary point of contact at the front counter in the Admissions office by greeting students, employees, and visitors. Support the Admissions offices district wide with budget expenditures and various clerical functions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide clerical support to Admissions. Enter requisitions, travel reimbursements, complete print requests, order office supplies and monitor inventory, prepare PCard reports, and track budget expenditures. Initiate Electronic Personnel Action Form for part-time and Federal Work Study positions. Oversee Federal Work Study students and prepare student employee work schedules, Schedule meeting room; initiate GIVA & Maintenance tickets for department. Maintain Administrative Assistant manual with the last’s revisions and procedures.
- Serve as back up at the Welcome Desk for all visitors. Offer a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering and exiting the building. Sign in and direct students and community.
- Assist with answering phones, Admissions email and responding to questions and requests.
- Issue student and employee ID cards.
Additional Job Functions:
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Banner and all aspects of student registration, records, and admissions preferred.

Required education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary Grade: 103
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
