Warehouse Administrator

As a warehouse Administrator, you will work as part of a busy team organizing shipments from PPG Shildon to the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. The role includes booking trailer consignments and processing product paperwork along with coordinating deliveries to meet customer requirements with rapid response times.

Key responsibilities

• Processing order pick lists and progressing the delivery of products to the relevant end user.
• Reading and updating of excel spreadsheets with customer demand and results.
• Use of Oracle software for daily operations.
• High competence of IT and hardware.
• Liaising with supply chain and customer services to deliver on time in full utilizing a variety of logistical options. Building relationships with haulage and freight companies to best fulfill order deliveries.
• Working in a fast paced dynamic warehouse as part of a team of 5-8 people.
• Producing export documentation
• Generating dangerous goods notes and invoice documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of Warehousing Admin preferred
• Previous use and knowledge of excel.
• Previous use of Oracle advantageous
• Good communication skills
• Flexible attitude to work load and time management.

Training Given when required.

• IATA (Airfreight Handling)
• Dangerous Goods Handling
• Oracle
