Description We are excited to add a new Administrative Assistant to our team, based in Van Nuys, California. This role is a crucial component of our healthcare and social assistance industry, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with managing contracts and providing administrative support within our Managed Care Department.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of contract management, including organizing, reviewing, and updating managed care contracts according to established procedures and timelines.

• Serving as the liaison between the Managed Care Department and other hospital departments to ensure contract compliance and implementation.

• Guaranteeing the creation and maintenance of comprehensive records of contract terms, renewals, and expirations.

• Working with the legal department to draft accurate and legal contracts.

• Assisting in the negotiation process with managed care organizations when necessary.

• Preparing for contract audits and performing other relevant administrative duties.

• Utilizing specific software systems like Case Management Software, CompuLaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel to track and manage contracts.

• Providing administrative support to the Managed Care team such as scheduling meetings, taking notes, organizing files, and handling phone calls.

• Maintaining client relations, handling claim administration, and managing billing functions using the relevant consumer electronics. Requirements • Proficiency in Case Management Software to effectively manage patient records and case history.

• Familiarity with CompuLaw for efficient legal calendaring and risk management.

• Experience with Conveyancer software for smooth handling of case files.

• Proficient in LexisNexis for conducting legal research and managing case information.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Capability to handle billing functions efficiently, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments.

• Experience in calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing team calendars.

• Ability to administer claims efficiently, ensuring accurate case documentation.

• Strong client relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.

• Knowledge of consumer electronics, aiding in the use of medical equipment and software. TalentMatch®
