Operations Assistant

DSV are recruiting for an Operations Assistant in Belfast. This role will be dealing with invoicing directly with customers, hauliers and internally and solving any queries that they may have.

• A successful candidate will report to the Transport Manager. The candidate must demonstrate excellent computer skills and be will versed in Microsoft packages including Excel.

Key Tasks

• Accurately processing invoices and controlling financial records.
• Acting as first line of contact for any haulier, internal or customer queries.
• Supporting the H&D team.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Daily invoicing for Hauliers, internal and customers.
• Weekly monitor system to ensure all invoicing has been captured.
• Assist with other office duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies

• The ability to work as a team and as an individual.
• Be adaptable and have excellent communication.
• Work well under pressure.
• Create a good positive atmosphere.
• Take responsibility for decision making.
