The team:

The Training team are responsible for learning initiatives for the S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) business, focusing on business specific and technical training, including policies and procedures, technology, and products. In addition, the team administers and provides oversight for access to S&P DJI’s analytical applications.

The impact:

We are looking for an extra member of our team to help ensure effective learning is delivered to our employees to support adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance. We work on exciting new learning initiatives and onboarding programs to support the businesses priorities. Our analytical applications support the calculation of over 1 million indices, and it is essential our analysts’ access to these systems is set up accurately and in line with internal controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning & Development Administration (approx. 40% of time)
  • Creating learning and tracking attendance in the company’s Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Running regular checks for new joiners, training completion status and staff changes
  • Maintaining up to date training information on the company’s internal sites
  • Helping facilitate live training sessions either via Zoom or in person
  • Supporting requests for training data (attendance/evaluations) as needed
  • Learning Program Development (approx. 10% of time)
  • Opportunity to work on the design and implementation of learning initiatives
  • Systems Access Implementation (approx. 40% of time)
  • Responsible for implementing requests for access to S&P DJI’s proprietary analytical applications
  • Provide data for audit requests
  • Assist with process enhancements

What we’re looking for:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2-3 years of total relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, resources and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies, platforms, and websites that are relevant to the responsibilities of this role
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
  • Proficiency with Zoom to support virtual learning sessions
  • Experience of working in an environment supporting Learning & Development and/or Compliance an advantage
  • Experience of using an LMS (Learning Management System) an advantage
