Salary: Grade 3

£17,682 to £19,133 per annum pro rata. Potential to progress to £20,130 per annum pro rata through sustained exceptional contribution.

We are looking for two Administrative Assistants to join our Departmental Administration Team supporting our students and Academic members of staff. You will provide a welcoming customer focused, professional reception service dealing with a range of enquiries from staff, students and visitors and provide administrative support to the admin team for the Department.

You will be the first point of contact for staff, students and visitors to the Department and will offer guidance or signpost them to the most appropriate service.

You will also be responsible, as part of a team, for the smooth running of the departmental office, as well as working with the team to maintain high levels of student satisfaction.

You will have 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications/have equivalent experience. You will also have experience of working in a busy customer-facing office environment and excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.

One post has been identified as full time, working 35 hours a week. The second post would be part time, working 17.5 hours per week.
