We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate to join our team specializing in Communications for the Engine Business and Plant Leadership Team in Darlington, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhancing Senior Management Efficiency: By anticipating the needs of senior management, you ensure they can focus on strategic tasks without administrative distractions.
  • Streamlining Communication: Facilitating smooth communication between senior management, coworkers, and external parties helps maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
  • Maintaining Confidentiality: By securing and managing sensitive records and files, you protect the integrity and confidentiality of important information.
  • Improving Employee Engagement: Creating and sending internal communications, such as emails, newsletters, business initiatives, helps drive positive employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinating Special Events: Overseeing the process and calendar for special visits and events ensures these occasions run smoothly and leave a positive impression.
  • Providing Crisis Communication Support: Offering crisis communication support when needed helps manage and mitigate potential issues effectively.
  • Creating and Maintaining Communication Assets: Developing and updating assets like presentations and videos for the Darlington campus ensures consistent and professional communication materials are available.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Administration, Marketing and Communications experience desirable

  • Effective Communication: Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences, ensuring messages are understood and impactful.

  • Creativity: Ability to create clear, concise and visually appealing communications that appeal to all levels of the business

Education/ Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification, or relevant experience that meets applicable regulations.
  • Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge gained through specialized training and relevant experience.

The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionized agreement
