Salary Range: Regionally Competitive

Immediate Supervisor: Superintendent

Position Summary

The Administrative Liaison to the Office of the Superintendent performs a crucial role

in facilitating communication, coordination and administration across elementary,

middle and high schools. The Administrative Liaison ensures that these elements

function efficiently and effectively, bridging gaps between/within different teams and

stakeholders. The Administrative Liaison will perform these roles under a Service

Agreement between the School District and the Administrative Liaison.

The following denotes an overview of the key responsibilities, qualifications and

preferred skills of the position of an Administrative Liaison.

Administrative Liaison Responsibilities & Duties

  • Reporting to and representing the Office of the Superintendent
  • Serving as a liaison to stakeholders who contact the Office of the Superintendent
  • Facilitating communication between departments and external stakeholders as assigned on behalf of the Office of the Superintendent
  • Coordinating/conducting meetings, appointments, and schedules as assigned
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence as assigned
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as assigned
  • Supporting project management activities as assigned
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as assigned
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Providing administrative support to the Office of the Superintendent and senior management
  • Attending teacher/staff meetings as assigned
  • Attending parent-admin conferences to assist to resolve conflicts as assigned
  • Attending community/school activities to represent the Office of the
  • Superintendent as assigned
  • Maintaining and organizing office records and files as assigned
  • Implementing and improving office procedures and systems as assigned
  • Substituting for absent building administrators as assigned

Administrative Liaison Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree preferred; current/active teaching license and/or administrator’s license
  • Previous experience as a liaison or administrative role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with office management practices
  • Ability to handle complex and sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience as an administrator
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in handling administrative and clerical tasks
