Administrative Medical Director, Psychiatrist – Villa Fairmont

Medical Director – Up to 16 hours per week, Administrative duties only (50% remote, 50% on site. Tuesdays and Wednesdays preferred, can be flexible)

Compensation

Employee Rate: $290,305k – $322,561k annually (Includes malpractice insurance)

Contractor-1099: $250 – $273 per hour (must have or provide your own malpractice insurance)

What You Will Do to Change Lives

As a medical director you will work collaboratively with the team to deliver on the following areas;

• Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives.
• Medical Oversight: Supervise and support clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Operational Management: Collaborate with leaders to improve operational efficiency and implement new policies.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and spearhead quality improvement initiatives.
• Provider Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and engagement.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve organizational goals and optimize outcomes.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• A minimum of 2 years medical leadership experience
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the treatment of adults with serious mental illness, including those with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders
• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
• An active California Medical License, in good standing
• An active California DEA license
