DSV are recruiting for an Administration Specialist to work with our Fairs & Events team based at the NEC in Birmingham. 

This role will provide support to the operations teams and may also include travelling to some events to support the team directly. 

  • You must be a committed player within the site administration team supporting colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices. 
  • It is essential that you have at least 1 years’ experience of working in a Customer Service role and an understanding of warehouse and logistic operations. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities 

Day to day responsibility for general administrative duties including: – 

  • Order processing 
  • Assistance with customer invoicing process as well as location KPIs’ 
  • Assistance with card payments / credit control 
  • Work on-site at some events to support the operations team with administration duties (direct customer facing) 
  • Support colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices. 

Skills and Competencies 

  • Good communication skills 
  • Good organization skills and effective time management 
  • Attention to detail 
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Office 
  • Problem solving
