The Administrative Supervisor will provide assistance with managing administrative activities to meet the goals and objectives of the Department to help ensure high quality operations.

Assist the senior administrator in the provision of administrative support to the department in alignment with the mission of the department and that of the medical center

Coordinate compliance with accrediting agencies NYS DOH, JCAHO, NYC DOH

Provide project management assistance and support specific to operational, financial and or business growth initiatives.

Plan and manage facilities improvement projects.

Provide support to management and Director of Service as needed.

Supervise administrative and clerical support staff. Assign work and insure timely and accurate completion. Interview, terminate and conduct performance appraisals. Submit and monitor employee time records in automated system. Resolve problems with Payroll and HR. Prepare PAF’s and Requisitions.

Monitor and track administrative expenditures and expenses and assist administrator in compiling data for budget submission process. Coordinate purchase orders, serve as liaison with accounting, accounts payable and purchasing departments. Prepare reports and documents for audits and inspections. Resolve routine problems.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required

One year experience in a similar role required

Knowledge of EPIC, Microsoft 365, Workday, insurance verification, managing workflow
