Here within our Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract an opportunity has arisen for a Service Delivery Co-Ordinator with strong interpersonal skills to carry out administrative duties to support the property directorate and support other SD Co-Ordinators, when required.

AASC offers a range of improvements, with particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system and the key purpose of this role is crucial to ensure service users’ needs are met within agreed time frames in accordance with Serco’s contractual obligations to UK Visa’s & Immigration (UKV&I), in relation to accommodation and transport for service users.

As a Service Delivery Co-Ordinator, you will build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. You’ll carry out all administrative activity to include Council Tax processing, Utility invoice processing, payment processing, and deal with vendor queries on a daily basis. You will liaise with local authorities with the Repairs and Maintenance team.

In this role you will produce reports, briefings, and information updates to a high standard within limited timeframe. You’ll update visual management boards and contribute to operational excellence within the Service Delivery Centre. By liaising closely with the property directorate you’ll ensure accurate rent details are present for landlords/letting agents/investors and process monthly rent runs for all properties.

What you need to do the job

You will be able to successfully engage and create successful working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have the ability to effectively communicate and present clear information updates across both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have the ability to travel within the regions and occasionally within the UK, therefore a valid UK driver’s licence is essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, and you will have strong MS Excel and IT skills. You will be experienced in demonstrating effective time management skills and can manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising your own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt.

Lastly, due to the nature of the role Security clearance at Counter Terrorism Check level and Criminal Record Bureau checks are required (all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office).
