Admissions Coordinator (Residential Treatment Program)

Under the supervision of the Director of Group Care, the Admissions Coordinator (AC) coordinates the admissions process for group care program referrals at River’s Edge Campus and River Bend Place. The AC expedites placements, maintains the integrity of Norris and in doing so, maintains positive working relationships with Norris employees and external partners. The AC communicates with families to ensure their involvement in and comfort with the identified program and placement process. They also maintain timely and accurate documentation of all referrals received.  

The AC ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youths, families and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of Norris.  The AC position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule that is subject to change to meet Norris’ evolving needs at any time, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.  The AC has an office at the River’s Edge Campus, but regularly needs to travel for admissions purposes. Therefore, the individual must be able to transport youth and/or families served in a Norris-owned or personal vehicle.
