The Advertising Operations Associate will support all aspects of Foreign Affairs Print and Digital advertising sales. This role is an excellent opportunity to work at a venerable magazine and learn marketing and sales processes from beginning to end. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, has strong communication skills and has experience with Google Ad Manager. Role reports into Advertising Director.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage all aspects of the post-sale process including communicating creative specs, gathering billing information and updating CRM.
- Traffic print and digital ad creative from advertisers and ensure successful publication in the print issue, on the website, on podcasts, and in email newsletters.
- Become an expert in Google Ad Manager and oversee successful implementation of digital ad campaigns.
- Collaborate in the creation of sales marketing collateral.
- Provide reporting to advertisers on campaign performance as needed.
- Aid Finance team in all billing and collection efforts.
Qualifications
- BA in Business or a related field, with high academic credentials
- A minimum of two years related experience in ad sales, ad sales operations or project management
- Demonstrated success of managing communication with third parties and independently executing multiple tasks without input from manager
- Strong writing skills for development of sales marketing collateral
- Familiarity with design programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
- Experience with advertising platforms such as Google Ad manager (DFP) and a working knowledge of the online advertising landscape highly preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment both independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits
The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $60,000 – $65,000 depending on experience.
