position Summary:

The Field Product Monitor will perform and record daily temperature and other conditions of heat-dried biosolids product stored in the field and advise management of indications of heating or other problematic conditions observed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily visits to fields for quality checks to:
    • Monitor and record product pile temperatures.
    • Observe and document any potential environmental or health concerns, such as runoff.
    • Monitor and report on pellet spreading activities.
  • Accurately input all daily observations and temperature recordings into the designated tracking system.
  • Report elevated product temperatures immediately to the appropriate internal and external contacts, including management, mitigation partners, and site operators.
  • Submit a daily activity report to the manager.
  • Prepare and deliver a weekly summary report outlining all site visits, key observations, and any issues encountered.
  • Maintain internal documentation summaries of all field site notifications.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to perform field-based tasks, including temperature monitoring of stockpiles.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize and report field-related issues promptly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in outdoor conditions.
