PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to partner with a global aerospace leader. In this role, you’ll bring technical expertise and attention to detail to every surface, ensuring that each aircraft meets the highest quality and aesthetic standards. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance, and appearance of cutting-edge aerospace products.

What You’ll Do

• Apply primers and finish coats to a variety of aircraft parts and assemblies per engineering specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying alodine as required.
• Mix paints to match exact color and finish specifications using both manual and power equipment.
• Inspect and measure finished surfaces to verify precision and compliance with engineering plans.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on painting tools, sprayers, and related equipment.
• Support the production process by training and assisting team members, ensuring smooth product flow.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards including BAC, OSHA, and customer-specific regulations.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Strong color perception with the ability to detect shade and brightness differences.
• Excellent manual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination.
• experience using precision measuring instruments and performing self-inspection.
• Working knowledge of spray-painting techniques, paint mixing, and surface preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior aerospace painting experience in a production or MRO environment.
• Familiarity with air-supplied respirators and paint booth operations.
• Completion or ability to complete training including:
  • SAF327T: Respiratory Protection – Air Supplied Painter Hood (Recert)
  • SAF322P/325P/326P: Respiratory Protection – Half-Face & Full-Face (Recert)
  • MED800: Hexavalent Chromium Medical Surveillance
  • SAF003W: Hexavalent Chrome Regulated Area

Pay Details: $46.42 per hour
