The primary role of the Analyst, Accounts Payable is to process a variety of invoices to ensure accurate monthly financials for all PDS offices. The Analyst, Accounts Payable should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, and be committed to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes vendor statements on a monthly basis and works with vendors to maintain account current
• Prepares to upload templates for invoice creation into ERP system
• Analyzes and corrects exceptions from automation tools
• Analyzes vendor invoicing processes to determine automation opportunities
• Performs data entry functions for invoices and check requests in a timely manner
• Possesses knowledge of chart of accounts to determine proper allocation of expenses
• Works closely with accounting team to ensure proper coding
• Assists in providing month end accrual information
• Maintains current vendor information
• Participates in meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable

Preferred

• Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information. Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
• Actively share ideas in a constructive and positive manner by listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others

Compensation Information

$24.60-$33.40 / Hourly
