Will you join us?What You Will DoThis role sits within one of Klarna’s Partner Success Teams (PSTs), which supports a broad portfolio of both existing and target new partners in various strategic verticals. The team’s goal is to ensure success in all owned partnerships, encompassing both Payments and Media, by delivering outstanding results from the Klarna product suite and ensuring a stellar consumer experience.As an Analyst within the PST, you will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with Business Developers, Marketers, and Media and Delivery experts to deliver the best customer experience and value to our partners. Your role will primarily focus on providing quantitative insights to drive better decision-making within your team and across the organization, with a specific emphasis on identifying opportunities to drive volumes and commercial revenue.Additionally, you will work to define problem spaces, acquire the right data to build robust, insightful and predictive models, and communicate results into recommendations that enable decision-making and drive business impact.ResponsibilitiesDevelop pricing strategy, build business cases and provide analytical support for new business development. Provide strategic financial guidance and decision support to leadership on a group level.Perform profitability analyses and ad-hoc analyses on merchants, consumers, segments, products, and competitors in order to identify risks and opportunities, improving overall business understanding and decision-making.Partner across cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop impactful, strategic value-added programs and offerings that will grow both Klarna and our clients’ businesses, and help drive objectives for our clients. Quantify commercial impact of proposed offerings and associated actions.Drive optimization and customization of specific policies by understanding regional risk policies and risk profile.Own business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and track team KPIs.Build and maintain high-quality models for in-depth analyses and forecasting.Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to enable effective and efficient reporting.Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes and models for more timely and relevant insights.Who You AreExperience with data mining principles and querying data sets (e.g., using SQL for collecting data from multiple data systems).Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g., Qliksense, Looker) to ensure the seamless flow and availability of data for analysis and reporting.Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (e.g., Regression analysis)Experience generating business plans and forecasts.Experience with digitally owned and operated, and traditional media analytics (e.g., email, social).Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and analyze the market to produce industry analysis and provide guidance.Proactive and adaptable individual with a strong willingness to take initiative and tackle diverse challenges.Strong project management skills – you are capable of originating and executing multiple work streams independently, working across various stakeholders and competencies.In addition to the mentioned skills and experiences, we are looking for a candidate who has strong FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) skills and experiences. This includes expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial statement analysis. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using financial software and tools for data analysis and reporting, as well as possess a deep understanding of financial metrics and key performance indicators.
