Application Analyst

What is the Job all about?

In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure users derive maximum value from their applications. Your responsibilities will include delivering basic application consultancy, guiding users through optimal usage, and addressing their queries. Additionally, you will focus on continuous business improvements within Information Systems (IS), identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct second line support work according to the defined Grundfos IS support framework.
• Support service and incident handling a ticketing system.
  • Deliver basic consultancy tasks, ensuring primary ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ensure updated ‘Self Service Guides’ on WorkSmart.
  • Implement and deploy changes and application adjustments.
  • Communicate with requester according to above, including super users, super user networks or SMEGs.
  • Optimize the assigned tools and processes.
  • Participate in giving training if necessary.
  • Provide a competent interface for users and keep them informed of progress, feasibility or potential needs for input.
  • Document own work in a proactive manner.

Your background:

• University or college degree in information technology or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of relative experience
• Industry, market and business environment
  • Contribute well-defined elements to developed processes within IT and IT Consultancy.
  • Ability to contribute to processes or projects.
  • Ability to contribute to business processes within IT and IT Consultancy.
• Technical, functional and professional
  • Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in IT and IT Consultancy.
  • Strong ability influence others.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the IT and IT Consultancy area.
