Art Teacher – Inspire Creativity & Confidence in SEMH Students
Based in Blandford Forum | KS3–KS4 | Full-TimeAre you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking to make a real impact? We are seeking a dedicated and imaginative Art Teacher to join our specialist team, working with KS3 and KS4 students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.About the Role:You’ll deliver engaging and therapeutic art lessons, helping students achieve meaningful outcomes through GCSE Art or the Arts Award. This is a chance to use your creativity to unlock potential, boost confidence, and support emotional wellbeing in a nurturing environment.We’re Looking For:A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)Experience working with students with additional needs – SEMH experience is highly desirableSomeone with a passion for art and the ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of needs and abilitiesA team player who values collaboration and pastoral supportWhat You’ll Be Doing:Teaching Art GCSE or Arts Award to small classesBuilding strong, trusting relationships with studentsCreating a safe, inspiring learning space where students feel confident to express themselvesSupporting students’ emotional development as well as academic progressWhat We Offer:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
