Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £85 – £90 Per Day

  • Make a Real Impact: Provide vital support to students with ASD, helping them overcome challenges and succeed in their educational journey.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with teachers and parents to create a tailored, supportive learning environment that meets each student’s needs.
  • Support Student Growth: Assist in implementing Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies, while tracking and sharing progress with stakeholders.
  • Engage & Encourage: Assist with classroom activities and foster the academic and social development of students with ASD.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Prior experience working with individuals with ASD or special educational needs.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Empathy: A patient and understanding approach when working with students facing unique challenges.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Desirable: Additional qualifications in special education or related fields, including Autism Awareness or First Aid Certification.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Understanding of ASD: Familiarity with effective strategies for supporting students with ASD and knowledge of educational practices and procedures.
