The Team
The Employer Engagement Team sits within Access, Student Employability, Success and Development and is part of the wider Division of Student and Academic Services within the Directorate for the Student Experience.
The Role
A role (0.4) has arisen for an Administrative Assistant, within the Careers Service’s Operational Support and Administration Team (which is part of The Employer Engagement Team).
The role is to provide administrative support for access, student employability, success and development activities as directed by the line manager. The post-holder will mainly be responsible for working with the Career-Connect platform through the organisation and vacancy approval processes, liaising with employers and responding to their queries and assisting with planning, organisation and delivery of events, including room bookings and diary management.
The Person
We are looking for someone with good organisational skills and experience of delivering administrative support. Alongside excellent oral and written communication skills, you should be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise work. Attention to detail, good numeracy skills and digital literacy are required. This role is suited to someone who is a strong team player with a focus on excellent customer service.
The role is hybrid with at least one day (out of two) per week spent working on campus and alongside other members of the Employer Engagement Team and wider Careers Service colleagues.
