<div class="isg-job-description“>Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Assembler. 
Working with minimal supervision, you will:
-Assemble Aerospace products that are compliant with Drawings, written Specifications, Customer Requirements, etc.
Duties include Assembling Antennas and related Sub-Assemblies primarily using Drawings and Assembly Instructions.
Requirements as follows:
 

• The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Requires a working understanding of basic Precision Measuring Tools i.e., Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, Torque-Drivers, etc.
• Requires a working understanding of basic Precision Hand Tools i.e., Wrenches, Screwdrivers, Punches, Precision Hammers, etc.
• Requires the ability to Read, Understand, and Interpret complex Mechanical Assembly type drawings.
• Prefer the ability to obtain Solder Certification per IPC-J-STD-001 or equivalent (Basic Component Level Solder Certification).  Some training may be available to help obtain Certification.
• Requires a basic understanding of Bonding (Joining two components together with Polymer adhesive).
• Prefer to have a working understanding of Adhesives and other Chemicals associated with Assembly.  Shelf Life, Pot Life, Expiration Dates, Mixing Techniques, etc.
• Prefer to have a good understanding of Heli-Coil Installation and Removal.
• The ability to be self-motivated to keep the work area clean and organized.
• The ability to keep all associated Paperwork and Documents orderly.

experience:
1 Year Mechanical/Assembly experience required.  Soldering experience preferred, but not required.
