As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of small parts to engine manifolds, ensuring each component is meticulously placed and secured. You will follow detailed instructions to add washers and bolts, utilize torque tools for precise measurements, and perform minor paint touch-ups. Your responsibilities will extend to completing final inspections to ensure order accuracy, inventory management, and assisting in the loading of completed assemblies into crates. Additionally, you will use pneumatic tools such as grinders, air ratchets, impact guns, and rivet guns to steam clean, dip, and oil parts, preparing them for packaging and shipping.

The facility currently employs 120 individuals and is expanding to include three shifts. It consists of two separate buildings that are older, with conditions that can be loud, dirty, and uncomfortable depending on the weather. Employees will work in specific departments under the supervision of a team leader. The facility includes large areas with CNC machinery, welding booths, and racking systems, and efforts are underway to upgrade the facility.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, Indiana.
The pay range for this position is $17.40 – $17.40/hr.
