Responsibilities:
1st Shift – 5:30 am – 1:00 pm
TRAINING PROVIDED
- Perform assembly based on work instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components & fasten parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; and placing & expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent
- Ability to efficiently work as part of a team
- Attention to detail & ability to multi-task.
- Basic math skills.
