ICMP delivers innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including specialisations in Electronic Music Production, Live Event Management, and Music Marketing.About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assessment Officer to join our dynamic team at ADE UK. This key role supports the Assessment Manager and is responsible for coordinating the assessment of students across modules and programmes aligned with a specific Faculty or Department and Campus.You will play a critical part in maintaining the quality and integrity of assessment processes, acting as a central advisor on regulations and procedures, and ensuring full compliance with both ADE UK and our university partners’ policies. You will also chair Campus Assessment Panels, contribute to Regional Assessment Panels, and oversee the accurate processing and release of student results.Key ResponsibilitiesExaminations, Assessments & Graduation

  • Manage student assessments across designated modules and programmes.
  • Coordinate exam logistics, including invigilation, external examiners, and special adjustments.
  • Administer extenuating circumstances processes and advise students on outcomes.
  • Lead on results processing, progression reporting, and communication with students and faculty.
  • Chair Campus Assessment Panels and participate in Regional Assessment Panels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of graduation ceremonies.

Student Record Management

  • Monitor student progression, deferrals, and assessment records via CAS/DRAD and Canvas.
  • Input grades, generate academic reports, and ensure systems reflect accurate student data.
  • Collaborate with Programme Leaders to maintain current and accurate programme records.

Student Support

  • Act as a point of contact for student and staff queries regarding assessments.
  • Manage communication around reasonable adjustments and special exam arrangements.
  • Provide pastoral support in collaboration with Programme Leaders.

Quality Assurance & Policy

  • Contribute to internal and external quality audits and continuous process improvement.
  • Support programme validations, reviews, and student casework investigations.
  • Ensure alignment with ADE UK and partner university regulations and policies.

About YouTo succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge of academic assessment processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage complex workloads and deadlines.
  • A professional and student-focused approach to communication and problem-solving.
  • Experience using student record systems (CAS/DRAD, Canvas or similar) is highly desirable.
  • The confidence to chair formal academic panels and represent your campus at a senior level.
