Duration: Long term
Shift Timings: 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate:  $18-21/Hr. on W2 without benefits
Job Description:

Asset Tracking & Maintenance:
  • Coordinate asset receiving with Dallas County Purchasing Department.
  • Correlate asset receipts with County Purchase Orders.
  • Accurately record and track assets in the system (e.g., computer, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.) throughout their lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
  • Perform routine inspections and assessments of assets to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Update asset records with any changes or repairs made.
Inventory Management:
  • Conduct periodic physical audits of assets to verify inventory records and ensure accurate data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage asset inventory and reduce discrepancies.
Asset Reporting & Documentation:
  • Generate regular reports on asset status, depreciation, and usage.
  • Maintain proper documentation for asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
Coordination & Support:
  • Assist in the disposal of obsolete or damaged assets in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Provide support for departments regarding asset requests, troubleshooting, Operating System Imaging, and asset-related incidents.
Software & Systems Management:
  • Utilize asset management software to update, manage, and track assets.
  • Ensure the software system is up-to-date and accurate, identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification in asset management or a related field preferred.
Certification:
  • A+ Certification Required.
  • Proven experience in asset management, inventory control, or maintenance coordination is a plus.
  • Familiarity with asset management software or other relevant systems.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Ivanti iHeat or equivalent ITSM / ITAM systems of record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move assets as required (e.g., equipment, tools).
  • Ability to work in various environments, including warehouses or job sites.
  • Reliable vehicle required for occasional job site visits.  Mileage is reimbursed at state rates.
