Position SummaryThe Department of Marketing, Information Systems, and Decision Sciences at the Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill two positions of Assistant/Associate Professor in Management Information Systems to begin August 2025.

The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few programs in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We offer BBA and MBA degrees in 12 concentrations as well as an Executive MBA for working professionals and an MBA in Education Leadership. The Management Information Systems faculty supports existing BBA and MBA programs including concentrations in Management Information Systems at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a Master’s of Science in Cybersecurity & Business Analytics at the graduate level. Teaching responsibilities for this position include undergraduate and graduate courses in Cybersecurity, Databases, Programming, Network & Systems Administration, and Systems Analysis & Design. Typical teaching load for a tenure-track faculty member is two classes per semester.

The Management Information Systems group is a small, cohesive group seeking colleagues who demonstrate a willingness to make a commitment to maintaining and building a strong Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and Business Analytics area within The Robert O. Anderson School of Management.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate or have strong prospect for completing a doctorate in Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution by August 18, 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

• Evidence of or promise of a significant program of research and scholarship, such as publications in top MIS journals, refereed conference proceedings and presentations, or other academic publications.
• Evidence of excellence or promise of achieving excellence in teaching MIS or IA core and elective courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Demonstrated ability or interest in teaching MIS or IA core and elective courses such as cybersecurity, business analytics, database management, business programming, network administration, and system analysis and design.
• Demonstrated ability or interest in teaching online.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
