About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Compliance and Enrollment Management promotes education, monitoring and tracking of NCAA compliance and assists in enrollment services. The position plays an integral role in promoting a culture of integrity at Northeastern through education, communication and positive relationships. Primary responsibilities include: creating and delivering rules education to coaches and staff; collecting and monitoring documentation related to playing and practice seasons, recruiting and other pertinent areas; maintenance of required reports, forms and databases; providing NCAA rules interpretations and assisting the Associate AD in working with campus partners (admissions, financial aid, housing, registrar, colleges). These roles provide a pathway to engage coaches, student-athletes and staff to in embracing NCAA, University and department policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of NCAA rules interpretations and presenting education sessions, ARMS recruiting software system, Banner, Compliance Assistant, NCAA, LSDBi and RSRO systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare well written correspondence, letters. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher. Knowledge and skills typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or J.D. preferred), and a minimum of 2 years of full-time, grad or intern experience working with NCAA compliance (at an NCAA member institution, conference office, or the NCAA national office). Position requires occasional travel; nights and weekends required as necessary.

Expected Hiring Range:
$52,820.00 – $74,607.50
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
