Job Title: Assistant Engineer

Location: White Oak, PA

Type: Contract-To -Hire/Direct Hire

Compensation: $23 an/hour – $26 an/hour

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is currently seeking an Assistant Engineer to support our Civil Municipal/Environmental Department based in White Oak, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to meaningful infrastructure and environmental projects.

As part of the team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across various areas, including:

• Sanitary sewer assessments
• Environmental planning and permitting
• Project budgeting and financial analysis
• Funding source administration
• Design and construction of water and sewer infrastructure improvements

You’ll also have the opportunity to attend client meetings, coordinate directly with clients, and work closely with project managers to meet key deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship/co-op experience preferred)
• EIT certification preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter who can work both independently and in a team setting
