Extrusion Assistant Operator

Location: Sussex, WI
Schedule: Friday-Sunday from 6:45 PM-6:45 AM

Are you ready to take your manufacturing experience to the next level? We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Extrusion Assistant Operator to help keep our production lines running smoothly. In this role, you’ll assist with operating blown film extrusion lines, maintain materials, and ensure high-quality output. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy learning new skills, this is the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do

• Assist in operating and setting up blown film extrusion lines.
• Perform roll changes and production run setups.
• Conduct visual and measurement-based quality checks to meet product standards.
• Maintain and handle materials for extruders safely and efficiently.
• Accurately label and report production data.
• Operate forklifts, core cutting machines, and palletizing equipment.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Learn and grow toward becoming an Extruder Operator.

What We’re Looking For

• education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a manufacturing or technically oriented role strongly desired.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Comfortable with basic math and Microsoft platforms.
  • Safety-first mindset and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to climb stairs, work at heights, and wear PPE.
  • Flexibility for overtime and shift changes as needed.
