The role is supported by an SEN assistant. The role also includes a wider responsibility for developing teaching and learning throughout the school.We are looking for a strong practitioner with experience of leading SEN provision with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues and who is passionate about raising standards and life chances for all children. The suitable candidate will have the National SENCo Award.As a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team the successful candidate will work closely with Teachers and manage TAs support and interventions. This role will help to develop an inclusive school practice and develop existing systems of tracking and reviewing provision. Responsibilities include, leading the school provision map; developing class profile of needs; the analysis of data, line management of Teaching Assistants; leading areas of performance management; assisting in the delivery of CPD, developing positive relationships with families.Our Schools/Trust and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children.
