Assistant Manager – Accountancy Practice
Cambridge
Salary £38,000 – £50,000Butler Rose are pleased to be representing our client, a well-established and growing accountancy firm of accountants that is seeking an Assistant Manager. Reporting to Manager level, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to help manage an existing portfolio of clients and also grow the business.Role Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial portfolio of client accounts
• Providing a high quality service to its existing client base and helping to develop new business
• Managing an existing team of semi-seniors and junior colleagues
• Updating and maintaining accurate records on the internal management system

Personal Requirements

• Preferably qualified CIMA, ACCA or the ICAEW, with PQE
• Experience of successfully dealing with clients directly
• Experience of managing less senior colleagues in a practice environment
• Confidence, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Clear communicator, possessing excellent written and oral communication skills
