Job Description:

The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking an Evolutionary Biologist who uses cutting edge quantitative methods to analyze large data sets. Candidates whose research is interdisciplinary will be especially valuable to our department. Currently, the Department of Biological Sciences has diverse group of scientists who employ data science methods in their research and are building a Data Science concentration for our undergraduates. The successful candidate would expected to contribute to this program. 

Duties Include:

50% Establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program.

50% Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of evolution biology and direct/supervise graduate students. Participate in service activities pertaining to the mission of the Department and the advancement of the profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Biological Sciences, Evolution Ecology and Behavior, or related field.

Applicant should have a successful track record of productive research and publication and postdoctoral experience.
