position Summary
The School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a full time, tenure-track, 10-month, Assistant Professor position beginning August 1, 2026. Information about the program can be found at https://kokomo.iu.edu/business/index.html.
Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester (in-person, online, and hybrid); establishing and maintaining an active, productive research program; and being active in service to the program, the campus, and the university.
One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo, is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 60,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3000 students from a 14-county area in north-central Indiana. IU Kokomo has around 271 full-time faculty and staff. Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include a doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field, teaching experience at the undergraduate college level, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in student-centered learning and collaboration. ABD will be considered. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service in areas such as leadership, organizational behavior, human resources, ethics, strategic management, entrepreneurship, international business, or other relevant management disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited university. Teaching experience at the MBA/graduate level. Experience mentoring undergraduate or graduate students. Evidence of the use of experiential learning. Candidates with an MBA or professional experience are desired.
