THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Shift Manager of Slots is to oversee the daily operations of Slot Operations, focusing on employee engagement, exceptional guest service, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring that staff duties are effectively performed. This role is pivotal in creating a vibrant gaming environment while upholding the highest standards of service and operational excellence

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Consistently deliver guest service in alignment with the company’s and property’s core service standards
• Lead team members by setting clear expectations and ensuring adherence to departmental and company policies
• Train and guide staff on service protocols and company programs, ensuring effective implementation
• Address and resolve guest and employee concerns promptly, professionally, and thoroughly
• Manage and execute assigned projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and within set deadlines

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members, guests, and business partners
• Maintains a working knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team toward achieving departmental goals
• Available to work the overnight shift starting at 11:00PM
