The Role:

As Little Spoon’s Associate, Business Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating strategic opportunities to support Little Spoon’s growth, with a focus on customer experience, operational excellence and new product innovation. Utilizing your analytical expertise and business acumen, you will synthesize customer and business trends into actionable insights that will guide decision-making, assist opportunity sizing exercises for strategic initiatives and support cross-functional teams in building out a roadmap to drive improvements. The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and a bias for action to quickly drive results for the business. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the Business Strategy lead for Customer Experience and Operational Excellence efforts, managing all related day-to-day activities
  • Prepare materials and maintain reporting for business reviews, with an ability to clearly communicate complex insights in a concise manner 
  • Develop data driven presentations to guide and evaluate strategic initiatives in support of company goals for your business focus areas
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business to build out a project roadmap for our Customer Experience and Operational Excellence working groups
  • Support opportunity sizing and post launch analysis of our new product innovation pipeline to help us continue to be a leader in our industry 
  • Utilize data to understand patterns of customer behavior, identify business trends, and communicate findings in a clear, digestible manner

Who You Are:

  • 2-3 years of experience in strategic role at a high-growth startup, management consulting or financial services 
  • Strong ability to develop complicated models and analyses in Excel and Google Sheets that exhibit a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively synthesize complex findings into action-oriented insights 
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to build alignment and support shared goals
  • Self-starter that thrives in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
  • You value diversity of thoughts, perspectives, and expression and believe that a diverse team makes better decisions, drives innovation, and delivers better business results

How You’ll Stand Out:

  • Experience with subscription startups – namely in food 
  • Experience on a team focused on operational excellence and/or customer care
