As the Support on Standby Generalist, you will provide nonclinical support to inbound callers to agencies by accessing LHC system and applicable patient documentation. You’ll work in coordination with clinical triage teams, and other home office support teams. First call resolution of patient concern if applicable by protocols and best practices. As well as ensuring customer concerns are documented and addressed for communication with agencies. Primary job functions do require speaking on the phone with patients, vendors and LHC Staff.

Must be available every Saturday/Sunday (10 hours)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer, triage and document inbound/outbound calls following protocols and best practices
  • Escalates appropriate requests to leader when a resolution is not identified by user
  • Work in conjunction with other Home Office support departments
  • Complete accurate and thorough documentation
  • Proficient knowledge of technical systems
  • Monitors communication systems throughout shift
  • Prioritizes incoming tasks according to patient needs
  • Meets minimum productivity requirements determined by Director
  • Will remain current with all required continuing education and compliance training mandated by the company and/or by supervisor
  • Participates in department staff meetings and educational sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of similar experience
  • Proven excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated solid computer skills, excellent telephone communication skills, and the ability to type
  • Proven solid problem-solving skills and analytic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours and independently

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
