As an Associate Director in Building Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical building and engineering advice to property owners and occupiers across the Asia Pacific region. You will provide commercially diligent advice regarding the condition, compliance, risk, function and performance of buildings and assets, providing high-quality lifecycle cost advice and managing refurbishment, maintenance, and repair projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client & Sales: Develop and implement state sales and marketing strategies to target and manage key clients, ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Consultancy: Conduct building inspections, provide technical advice and reports on building conditions, compliance, and performance, and manage project scopes from start to finish.
  • Project Management: Lead and direct project teams, manage project delivery, and ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Quality Management: Implement and maintain quality assurance across projects and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • People Leadership: Guide and mentor staff, manage project teams, and contribute to their professional development and career growth.

  • Consultants and Contractors

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure effective management of key services and business strategies for revenue conversion.
  • Oversee project delivery and client satisfaction, ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and innovation within the team.

Background and Experience:

  • 10+ years in property/construction industry experience.
  • Proven leadership in roles that demonstrate growth and industry recognition.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Building Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification such as RICS, COIB, AIQS, CIBSE, EA, AIPM, or similar.
  • Expertise in client engagement, procurement, contracting methodologies, and financial management.
