Role Overview:

The Associate Director, OD and Change is responsible for supporting the implementation of organizational change initiatives that drive transformation and enhance the overall business performance at FMC. This role is involved in developing and executing plans that are evaluating culture, process, technology, and ways of working and looking to address where change needs to be driven to improve organizational effectiveness. The role will collaborate with leaders across the HR function to align business and organizational goals with relevant change and OD plans, that drive aware and desire, build knowledge and abilities, and sustain adoption of change through different reinforcement strategies and tactics.

This role will report directly to the Head of OD and Change.

Responsibilities:

Change Management & Internal Communication Strategy

  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies that focus on accelerating adoption.
  • Support the execution of internal employee communication platforms, including planning, content development, and messaging.
  • Develop and implement OD strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Organizational Development

  • Partner with the Head of OD/Change and HRBPs to assess organizational needs and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct organizational assessments to diagnose organizational challenges; design recommended action plans and interventions to improve organizational effectiveness based on the findings.
  • Drive initiatives that support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and other engagement activities to gather feedback and ensure buy-in.

Training & Development

  • Identify training and readiness needs related to effectively driving change initiatives and organizational development.
  • Support the design and delivery of training and readiness programs that support employee development and change adoption.

Measurement & Evaluation

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Use data and analytics to measure the impact of change initiatives and adjust as needed.
  • Support the Head of OD and Change in preparing and presenting materials that communicate the progress and outcomes of change initiatives.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, psychology, human resources or a related field

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to think systemically and holistically about organizational change
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and across geographies
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate and present material that is tailored to the needs of different audiences
  • Ability to lead and influence others without the use of position authority
