Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Project Manager will support the delivery of complex technology and business change initiatives within the Capital Markets division of a top-tier global bank. Operating within an Agile framework, the PM will coordinate sprint activities, manage delivery timelines, and ensure strict oversight of project financials. The role requires a strong grasp of capital markets functions, stakeholder dynamics, and disciplined financial governance. Looking for someone who is pro-active and willing to dig into the details.What will you do?

• Support delivering front-to-back solutions in trading and pricing for Front office FX and rates.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Dev leads to ensure sprint goals align with regulatory and business priorities.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across squads and escalate as needed.

• Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and headcount/resource tracking across the book of work.
• Maintain accurate project financials: actuals, accruals, committed spend, and variances.
• Ensure all project spend adheres to internal controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness standards.

• Maintain standardized project artifacts (charters, risk logs, RAID items, change requests).
• Prepare executive-level reporting on delivery health, financial status, and resource utilization.
• Support governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder presentations.

• Build strong working relationships with Technology, Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Compliance stakeholders.
• Act as a coordination point across geographically dispersed teams.
• Help lead team call and be engaged with the delivery process
• In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide

What do you need to succeed?Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project management, PMO, or business analysis within Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Proficiency in project and financial tools (Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with executive stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Solid understanding of capital markets business domains: trading, risk, clearing, or market data.
