College of Life Sciences, NEFU (https://life.nefu.edu.cn/)

Established in 2003, the School of Life Sciences holds a first-level doctoral program in Biology and a postdoctoral research station. It operates several key research platforms, including the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Saline-vegetation Restoration and Utilization in the Northeast of China, the Provincial Key Laboratory of Biosynthesis and Utilization of Plant Natural Bioactive Compounds, and the Provincial Key Laboratory of Enzymes and Enzyme-like Biomaterials. The college has over 30 high-level talents, including national-level talents, young national talents, and leading talent teams from Heilongjiang Province. Over the past three years, the college has published 230 papers in top-tier journals such as Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and PNAS, received five provincial scientific awards, and obtained over 90 million RMB in research funding.
