Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Concord High School. As a part of our vibrant community, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the health, performance, and success of our student-athletes.

About Concord High School:

Concord High School, located in Concord, Michigan is a MHSAA Class C school, CHS competes in the Big 8 Conference. The Yellow Jackets of Concord have 16 interscholastic sports teams and has approximately 181 students. The athletic trainer’s primary responsibilities will be at Concord High School; however, additional hours outside of the school for Henry Ford Health may be assigned. The athletic trainer will effectively communicate with HFH sports medicine staff and the team physician to coordinate medical care for the CHS Athletics community.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide athletic training services to our athletes at Concord High School.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Concord High School to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
